It's been keeping me very busy lately.

I get to go to a leadership training camp! I'm so excited.(:

It's already over?

I'm going to miss Summer.

ALOT.

I'm going to miss sleeping in, staying up late, eating whenever I felt like it, going on vacations, wearing the colors I want to wear, and I'm especially going to miss my friends that are going to new schools.

This summer has gone by way too fast. I feel like I haven't done much this summer. I don't want it to end and I don't want to go back to school!

Emmie Rae Check left her earthly body August 12, 2010 at 3:50 p.m, and is now with our loving Father in Heaven.

I grieve for the Check family. I can only imagine the pain they are going through and how hard it must've been to say goodbye to beautiful Emmie. I am so grateful for Tiffany, Jason, Ava, and Elsie. They are a perfect example. They've shown me what unconditional love is

I can picture her in heaven, running, dancing, singing, laughing.. Doing everything she couldn't do her on earth with the body that she had.

She is running and playing with her little brother. She wanted to be able to meet him and tell him all about the great things he has to look forward to.

I am so grateful for the time that I've been able to spend with Emmie over the years. She has the sweetest spirit.

Goodbye, Sweet Emmie. I will miss you.

Week in review..

Monday, Tuesday: were just the regular... Sitting at home.

Wednesday: Registration.. Let me tell you, this years going to be boring. I'm so sad that my support the rabid/tin-cup buddy/ black sister isn't going to school with me this year!

After that, We took some fantastic pictures at Mutual! And we went to TCBY(:

Thursday: I went to go see Charlie St.Cloud with my Danielle.. it was a good movie. And we saw Jess. Hahaha

Friday: I had a party with Danielle! Just kidding but we went downtown and it was really fun! We saw Maxx, Hannah, Alexuz, and all those good people! Haha we accidentally left Maxx in the parking garage and we got some pretty amazing french fries and I ended up eating all of Maxx's french fries... Hopefully he'll get over it someday. Haha we had a lot of fun. On our way home we decided that I would go to Phoenix with Danielle the next day. And that's what we did!

That night we watched The Office Fun Run episode. Definitely the BEST episode of the office, EVER.

I don't know, maybe I sing in the shower? Or I spend too much time volunteering? Or maybe occasionally I hit people.... With my car.

I'm pretty sure we laughed at this part for 20 minutes.

Saturday: Phoenix is hot. Just putting that out there. But on the bright side, pools are fantastic. Really fantastic.

Later that night, I started my fast for Emmie and The Check Family.

Sunday: Fasting is hard. But it's not hard when you're doing it for someone you love. Emmie is such an amazing girl and we all love her so much.

After a long day, we drove home. Thank you, Danielle, for a great weekend!

What about Texaco, New Mexico? Cierra and I are moving there. Were going to be nieghbors in Texaco, New Mexico. With awesome cactus in our yards with bows! And we don't need cars because Texaco is small. Were just going to have amazing golf carts! (:

So the other day, my Mom, my Sister and I went to the bookstore just for fun, and this crazy old man came up to us trying to get us to go to his gems and minerals show, and he would NOT stop talking..

Apparently,

some of them gems and minerals are super big.

So big,

"It'll literally knock your eyes out!"

And you all know me, with my smart replies.

So, I responded saying:

"That's probably not healthy."

He was so obsessed with his gems and minerals.

he didn't hear me when I said that.

My week in review

Monday and Tuesday: Nothing... Well nothing important.

Wednesday: Monica came over. We went to mutual to play water games, which is ironic because it was raining buckets anyways, but Monica and I decided to sit out on the water games because we rather not slide around in reclaimed water. EW. We almost went to go see Ramona and Beezus, but decided not to. Instead we walked around in the rain and got ice cream. It was fantastic! After, we came home and made the most amazing music video known to man kind.(: We worked on the video for about 5 hours, but it was worth the time spent because we made some great memories making the video.

Thursday: I looked at some at some pictures taken by Jennifer Fauset. She's an AMAZING photographer and always has been. We still have the pictures she took of my brothers about, 4 years ago? Anyways, she's fantastic and I hope to be as good as she is one day!

After looking at pictures for about 3 hours.... Kennedy came over! It felt like I haven't seen her in forever and we had a great time together.

And once again... I had to take pictures because she's so pretty and I really want a Digital SLR Camera and I have to show that investing in something expensive like that is not going to be a waste of hundreds of dollars.

Friday: I was going to go downtown to take pictures of Monica, but the rain ruined our plans. But it's okay, I'll find another way to take some pictures of her.(: Instead, My mom, Trenton, Zane, and I went to the mall. Unfortunately, it took us 2 hours to get through all of the crazy traffic because of the rain. And there was nothing exciting at the mall. Besides this one Nikon d3000 that I would LOVE to have. Well, to bad it's $330 and I only had $20. It was a bummer..

Yeah, it's calling my name. Hahaha

Saturday: Nothing, again.

Sunday: Sunday's been a great day. In sacrament meeting most of the youth bared their testimonies on the acts of service because the past 2 weeks the youth in our ward have been helping out a lot to the flood victims in Doney Park. I went last Wednesday and it broke my heart seeing all of these homes destroyed.. It was hard shoveling out mud from people's homes and seeing old pictures and memories covered in mud, but the experience made me grow as a person and strengthen my testimony.

After we got home from church, I took some pictures of my beautiful brothers and impatient little sister:

They didn't turn out so bad!
